Hotel Veveří

I'm only rating the restaurant, where about 26 of us came after a tourist trip. There were about 4 other people in the restaurant, so you could say that the restaurant was just for us. Saturday 2:00 PM arrival, drinks at 3 PM and food at 4:30 PM. The lady in charge said that the beef birds were and would be ready within 20 minutes. Well, they started bringing everyone food at once after an hour and a half. The bird was dry, probably from the wait, God knows where, the rice was hard, undercooked. Absolutely not for the price of 170 CZK. Unfortunately, I was hungry, otherwise I would have returned it to them. My friend ordered a cheese skewer with mashed potatoes, they brought her a skewer with fries. The lady looked at it for a few seconds after the warning and then said that she would go and change it. She probably expected the guest to say, that's good, I'll keep the fries. But I can make such a portion at home for 15 CZK and not 55 CZK as on the ticket. Overall, the wait was a disaster, they should have said that they would give you a choice of two or three dishes, and they would cook the rest later, unfortunately I will probably never come here again

I am not satisfied at all. Unfortunately, the service is only willing over the phone, the reality is completely different. They promise you a blue sky upon request, but the opposite is true. Even a small child can handle more than the staff in this facility. I have not visited the hotel personally, but after this experience of mine, where the staff is not able to even hand over a gift to a customer that they take over and promise to hand over, I will not visit either. I definitely cannot recommend it.

We were at a themed lunch that the hotel regularly organizes. We were alone and the service was very fast, communicative, willing and helpful. The food is Czech classics, but it was very good and quickly prepared. We enjoyed it and are planning to go again. I recommend it.

Well, the service is unpleasant, especially the gentleman is arrogant. The lady tries when the pub is full, so unlike the gentleman, she doesn't throw you out of the pub even when you finish your beer. Standard rooms. The kitchen is good, but it happened to us that they had a party and they gave us a choice of two dishes from the menu for dinner. We probably won't come back here, we'll look for something else where the staff will take care of us.

Very rude service, unobtrusive and unprofessional. We waited an hour and a half for our food, even though the restaurant was empty. Right at the entrance, the service staff told us that if we each ordered a different dish, it would take a long time, which was ultimately true, even though we each did not order a different dish. When we finally got our food, the food was average, not great not terrible.

Oof. This was really quite embarrassing. We chose the hotel because of the route of the hike and the unsuitable location. The staff was very helpful, however, the accommodation was not in good condition overall. The room was small, the bathroom even smaller. The windows did not even have blinds, the location by the main road and the moving mattresses were not ideal for a quiet night. On Monday after a weekend event, there was no possibility of dinner, which is not mentioned at all on the websites, among other things. Long story short, overall quite a wasted potential considering the interesting location of the hotel..
