Omena hotels is pretty much the same as I remember it from 10 years ago. This is a ”budget” hotel, so usually it has best prices in the city. I always liked Omena and find it is a good price-quality match and they are always in a central location. Rooms are clean, there is a microwave, small fridge and a hairdryer. Bathrooms are similar to ship bathrooms. It can be a bit noisy in the mornings and evenings when people are checking in and out but otherwise we found the rooms to be quiet. There is NO reception. Everything works via a code. I suppose for locals this works ok but foreigners struggle a bit. It would be great if there was more instructions in Asian languages as there were a few confused people and a lady from Japan whom I ended up helping. Central location on the main street, 5 minutes from the railway station. Grocery shop is on the opposite side and great restaurants and shopping 5 minutes walk away. Would happily stay again.
Rooms were spacious, tv didnt work in the first room. Called customer service and got a different room which had a broken fridge but was replaced fast, chromecast also didn't work, thankfully miracast worked at least. Overall okay visit, but was annoying.
Location was really great. And room was pretty spacious, the light in bathroom was bright so I could do my makeup without any problem. But, the wall were thin so I could hear everything from the corridor or other rooms. There were stains on many places - table, floor, bathroom, shelf, and dust almost everywhere. And there was no remote control so TV was useless for us :( Plus for the small fridge, and microwave. No reception or anyone to help is very bad.
STAY AWAY!!! Good location and room was spacious, but it STANK of sewerage! The bathroom was practically unusable as the second we opened the door we felt sick. We arrived closer to midnight, messaged the hotel (self check-in), never got a response. Not worth wasting money here!
Excellent location. All public transportation choices near by and they are easy to use with just a credit card, Apple/Google -pay (NFC). Signing in worked perfectly. Clean and tidy room and hallways (cleaners seen every day). Room equipped with microwave, water kettle, hair dryer, minibar fridge and Philips flat 32". TV channels have occasional hiccups. Bathroom has warmed floor and bidet. Sink and toilet seat lower than normal so easy access for children. One for all liquid soap proved to be quite good. Breakfast (brunch) is best to get from one of the close by restaurants, like Puisto (quite large selection of choices). As well as lunch for example in Tillikka, if you prefer the real thing without excessive chitchat. Cafes available all over the city. On the downside, some muffled noise can be heard through the AC system from the neighboring rooms in the night time. All and all the hotel was reasonably priced and more than adequate for 4 days visit.
