Le Soho Bar is one of the Écusson's most sociable gay bars, situated on Rue Foch a short walk from Place de la Comédie. The space is compact but well-designed, with strong sound and lighting that transforms it effectively for DJ nights on Fridays and Saturdays. The crowd is mixed and largely young; the happy hour (typically 17h–20h) is one of the best-value in central Montpellier and is reliably busy from Thursday. Themed evenings — 80s nights, karaoke, bear nights on specific dates — add variety to the weekly programme. Le Soho is a natural continuation after Café de la Mer and a good option for those who want a lively bar rather than the full club experience of Le Privilège.

The cocktails were delicious, but unfortunately, I was disappointed by the closing time. Although they advertise being open until 1 a.m., we were ushered out at midnight, and at 12:20 a.m., we were asked to leave. We had barely ordered, and we had to finish our drinks in 10 minutes! It's a shame.
