About the event
Monaco Grand Prix weekend (late May) draws a cosmopolitan crowd to the Côte d'Azur, and Nice's gay venues see a sharp uptick in upscale visitors from the principality. Le Six and Blue Boy Enterprise run special events and extended opening hours over the Grand Prix weekend. Monaco is 20 minutes from Nice-Ville station by train (€4 single). The principality is small, safe and gay-friendly in practice if not yet legislatively. An unmissable side trip for visitors based in Nice.
