Micro managed hotel breakfast raw bacon and sausage
The staff is very rude and ill mannered They behaved very rudely and told us to get out of the room as if we have not paid.
The rooms are nothing fancy and the beds a bit hard, But the folk working there are lovely folk, wonderfully friendly, welcoming and helpful. For the price, there isnt much cheaper other than hostels. Variable pressure showers were welcome, and theres a set of off licenses and a chinese just around the corner if you dont fancy going further afield into Twickenham. Despite being near a big road I had no noise issues, and there were no noise issues from other guests. Main complaint would be that while I usually enjoy a firm bed, the ones here did give me a sore back after a while and I had to switch sleeping positions. The furnishings were also a bit shabby with peeling veneer, so could do with a bit of an update. If you need a cheap room and you're not too fussed, you can do a lot worse. However, to my understanding breakfast is an £8 charge, for which you get a basic full english (Egg, bacon, toast, beans, sausage, hash brown) and a choice of cereals, juices, tea, coffee and such. I might have misunderstood and only the hot breakfast was extra however!
The property is dated but the rooms are clean and a good price for London area service is very good.
