פונדק Equity Point Hostel Marrakech

A beautiful hostel, very well maintained and clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. My room overlooked the pool, a real treat. Xavi, the owner, is very nice and explained a lot about the country's culture, and the reception staff were very friendly. It's very well located within the Marrakech medina. I'll definitely be back.

Roomed in a 4 bed accomodation. The room had a 4 big storage space that came with its own keys for each person. There were visible mold around the floor of the rooms. The shower and bathroom space felt crammed. I just had a terrible time given that the guests at the hostel were causing a lot of noise at 2am (constant banging, shouting, and general roudyness). I asked the people I roomed with about curfew and noise level and they told me it's always noisy. I told the hotel crew while I was checking out and they seemed surprised. Apparently curfew does not exist or is not enforced.

Hostel is amazing! I love Laura, so is amazing. Simo the bar tender is very rude and doesn’t care about staff or guest. If you come, come during the day to see Laura. Simo is so rude.

We weren’t staying at Equity Point but were completely lost walking back from and the main square late at night and popped in here for help. They couldn’t have been more helpful and even drew us a map. Lovely people!

Had a great stay at Equity Point! Rooms were clean, bathroom was tidy, housekeeping staff were prompt and reception were always so helpful and friendly. Also has a great and social pool area. It is in a great spot only 10 minute walk from main Medina square but the walk can be confusing at night so use google maps, plus no roads for cars bar the near the Riad so you have to walk. Would highly recommend for a great budget stay in a convenient location in Marrakesh !

I thought I find something to give only four stars (to make me seem unbiased) but I couldn't find anything.

Just stayed one day and one night at this hostel, but everything was great. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. Special mention to Kenza at reception, who was very welcoming and helpful, and to the cook, whose meals were especially excellent. Overall, a very pleasant and smooth stay.

The staff were really friendly except for the night guy who was not very nice. The alleys are a bit dodgy at night. The bathroom is for 1 person in a 6 people dorm and there isn’t any option to have a shower outside of the room. Couscous the cat is lovely There is a bar with alcohol

An oasis of peace and comfort⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was the best hotel I stayed at during my two weeks in Morocco. I booked it for 6 nights, and it exceeded all expectations. The location is very convenient — about an 8-minute walk to the Medina exit, 8 minutes to the main square, and around 10 minutes to the madrasa. The staff are highly professional: always welcoming with a smile, greeting you warmly, and checking in to see how you’re doing. It truly creates a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The pool area is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, there is a 24-hour reception, and security is present outside the hotel, which makes you feel safe returning at any time, whether late in the evening or early in the morning. The beds are comfortable, the rooms have everything you need, and housekeeping is done daily. A €10 deposit was required, which was returned to me within 5 days without any issues. Highly recommended!
