We stayed here for 1 week with two adjacent rooms and with 4 kids. The breakfast is great and accommodates western diet (make sure to ask for yogurt or cold milk, if you are western). The beds are amazingly comfortable! Rooms are very spacious, nice wardrobes, showers, safes, minifridge. The 4th floor rooms have A/C but not the 3rd floor rooms FYI. The gym is great with a large set of dumbells, barbells, treadmill, bench. The staff is amazing. Tek is the GM and very friendly. All of the staff was very kind, asking if we need anything, services the room every day. They even helped up get dressed up in Ghos and Kiras one day. They loved the kids really well. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are wanted a hotel convenient to all the walking and shopping of downtown Thimphu.
Excellent 9 days experience staying at the hotel. Very cordial staff and good service experience. Food is also good. Well located centrally within the City and easy access to market place
The room was large and spacious. The bed was very soft and the blankets were comfortable. The air conditioning was cool. Overall, it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I really liked the bedding – the bed, pillows, and the large blankets were fantastic. The lobby was clean and comfortable. The decorative pictures were beautiful; I personally liked them. The restaurant was decent, serving Bhutanese-style food. Mostly vegetarian.

Our stay at Seva Hotel Thimphu was truly one of the best parts of our Bhutan trip. From the very first moment, the warmth, hospitality, and care we received were absolutely exceptional. We reached the hotel quite late at midnight after a long journey, yet the staff welcomed us so warmly with smiling faces and genuine care. What amazed us the most was that they even arranged noodles for us at that late hour, which was incredibly thoughtful and something we will never forget. The room was marvelous — spacious, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and equipped with every required amenity. Everything was perfectly arranged, making our stay extremely relaxing and comfortable. The food deserves special appreciation as well. Every meal was absolutely delicious with a great variety of items and sufficient quantity. The quality, taste, and presentation of the food were consistently excellent throughout our stay. A very special thanks to Miss Tara and Miss Sonam for their kindness and caring nature. They were always smiling, helpful, and made us feel so warm and comfortable that it genuinely felt like we had known them for a long time. Their hospitality came straight from the heart. The manager of the hotel was equally humble, attentive, and hospitable, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and cared for. I would also like to specially mention the lady at the reception during our checkout whose name unfortunately I could not remember. She was extremely kind, polite, and helpful, and her warm behavior left a very positive impression on us. What truly makes Seva Hotel special is not just the beautiful rooms or excellent food, but the genuine warmth and hospitality of the people working there. Because of the wonderful experience we had, we would definitely love to visit again in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Thimphu. Thank you once again to the entire Seva Hotel team for making our stay so memorable and special. ❤️
