Hyatt Ahmedabad

Hyatt Ahmedabad is the older of the city's two Hyatts, next to the Ahmedabad One mall and overlooking Vastrapur Lake. Venue listings give 176 rooms (built 2012, renovated 2018). A 2020 state list of permit liquor shops includes one at this hotel, which is useful in a dry state if you hold a permit. The lake walk and the mall are on the doorstep; the old city is about 25 minutes away by cab. Mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.
