People Like Us (PLUS) Kolkata

People Like Us (PLUS) Kolkata is a community organisation founded in 2003 that supports transgender people and the wider LGBTQ+ community across West Bengal and neighbouring states. It runs Prothoma, described as one of the first shelter homes for the transgender community in the region, alongside HIV-prevention, health and livelihood programmes. The group's work has been recognised with a UNAIDS Red Ribbon Award.
