GREEN DAYZ

GREEN DAYZ is a small gay bar about three minutes' walk from Ueno Station. It reopened in May 2022 and runs the standard Japanese gay-bar format: a counter, a master behind it, and a bottle-keep system, with sets starting around ¥2,500. Ueno has a cluster of older gay bars, and this one draws mostly local regulars. Some Japanese helps, but newcomers who are friendly and patient generally get on fine.
