About this place GREEN DAYZ
GREEN DAYZ is a small gay bar about three minutes' walk from Ueno Station. It reopened in May 2022 and runs the standard Japanese gay-bar format: a counter, a master behind it, and a bottle-keep system, with sets starting around ¥2,500.
Ueno has a cluster of older gay bars, and this one draws mostly local regulars. Some Japanese helps, but newcomers who are friendly and patient generally get on fine. Check the website or social pages for current hours.
