Finn's Paekakariki

Went here for a first table dinner. Was lovely service from waitress was nice food chicken stack was amazing ribs meal was a bit big for me food was hot and fresh and arrived quite quickly. Thanks for nice meal and I didn't have to cook it

The rooms are really big. Josie was really nice.

We ate at the restaurant.. the people were lovely, the service fantastic and the food was next level .. I would highly recommend trying it out for yourself

Ordered a Margaurita pizza, was sooo disappointed. Tomato sauce used for the base and tasteless dried basil sprinkled across the bed of cheese. Basil is in season for goodness sake! Please don't advertise a pizza if it cannot be made correctly. We were so disappointed we took it back to the counter and after talking to the girl behind the counter (pass the message on) we left it there and walked away.

Went to Finn’s for lunch after doing the escarpment track. We had two lunch specials, really nice service, nice music playing and great prices. $16.90 for fish and chips

We dined at the restaurant for lunch on a weekday. The restaurant and bar were very quiet The $16.90 meal deals (as of 2026) are very good value and provide a small to medium sized meal. The quality of the food is good. The beer batter on the fish was great and the katsu chicken was done well. It was nice that they had pickles, radish, and ginger with the katsu. They have a small amount of outdoor seating too which can be nice on a sunny day.

Love the stake dinner, it's a must have

We had a weekend lunch at Finns. Nice friendly waiting staff. Food is rather average but fairly priced. The beef Burgers were OK for the price. The Korean chicken tacos weren't well received however, the chicken was dry and lacking flavour apart from a tiny bit of sauce and the soft tacos were dry (stale).

Absolutely lovely rooms, spa bath is a real extra bonus - unbelievably reasonably priced to top things off - brilliant
