The best sauna I've ever been to, my friend and I arrived. The reception staff is very friendly. A clean and well-kept place with lots of people. I really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back.
Opening hours are very loose and they feel like closing whenever they want to, very unclean and rude stuff
Apart from Friday, when after 1.5 hours of queuing they sent us away because it closed after 3 hours, I have to say it's really very clean and new, worth a visit!
A very large sauna. Full of men of all ages and builds. The atmosphere was one of uninhibited fun. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll be back on my next visit to Berlin.
The two of us visited Boiler on July 18th, between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM. Let’s start with the positives. The sauna is clean and quite spacious, although in practice it has 2 usable levels rather than the 3 or 4 some claim. The staff were pleasant and polite - especially Wojtek, who asked us for our impressions and whether we enjoyed our visit as we were leaving, that was a nice touch. Unfortunately, there are downsides too. In our opinion, Boiler isn't worth the €30 fee for a 6 hour stay, around €20 would be a more appropriate price. You have to deduct about 40 minutes from those 6 hours because the steam room labyrinths are closed for cleaning - even though that area, along with the pool zone, is one of the facility's most popular spots. The pool itself is tiny, it’s hard to call it a real pool. It’s not a proper Jacuzzi either, as the jets are quite weak, though the water temperature is pleasant. In our opinion, a better solution would have been to keep one section of the labyrinths and create a larger pool in the other. A real Jacuzzi with stronger hydro - massage jets could have been built where the current pool is located. The large 90°C sauna makes a good impression, but due to the very high temperature, it is far less popular than the much smaller 60°C sauna. Simply swapping their locations would make the facility much more convenient and comfortable to use. The clientele spans a wide age range. You can also spot many regulars, easily recognized by their behavior (a "diva" attitude). If you plan to have a sandwich there, it’s best to do so before midnight. I got the last one available, while the person behind me no longer had that option. At the entrance, a staff member asks if guests have their own water with them. If they do, they are required to drink it or leave it at the reception desk. This is puzzling, however, as the changing room lockers bear a notice stating that personal water may be consumed there, and a drinking water tap is also available in the sauna area. All in all, we expected more. The stay was pleasant, but we left Boiler feeling disappointed, we feel that, at the current price, the value for money isn't good enough.
