The hotel is perfect for visiting the stadium, Starlight Theatre, and the Ruhr Congress Center, and the connection to the city center is excellent. We had a large room (3 beds), which was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was also delicious and varied. Parking is available right at the hotel, so highly recommended! 👍

Nice and spacious room, good breakfast

Everything went perfectly. We booked through Booking.com for two nights and five people. It's not far from Starlight Express (a ten-minute walk) and has its own parking spaces in the courtyard. If those are all taken, there's plenty of parking nearby. The breakfast buffet was adequate.

+ Great location for the Starlight Express musical (about a 10-15 minute walk) + Very friendly staff at breakfast + Ample breakfast selection: various cereals, quark, yogurt, rolls, bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, and spreads + Pizzeria right next door + Free parking in the courtyard + Minibar (charges apply) - Unfortunately, there were several hairs on the freshly made bed - The room was somewhat cramped, with a narrow passage between the bed and the door - Both door locks (entrance and bathroom) were broken or glued together

A simple hotel with large rooms, though ours were in the basement. Anyone with mobility issues will have problems – it's not wheelchair accessible, there's no elevator, and there are many stairs and steps. The windows faced the courtyard – a large parking lot! There's also a busy pizzeria right next door, so it was quite noisy with the window open. Breakfast was basic. On the plus side, everything was spotlessly clean! The price/performance ratio wasn't quite right. The staff's friendliness was mixed – from very friendly to rather unfriendly.

A quiet, family-run hotel. Ample parking is available in the courtyard and on the street, all free of charge. The room was a good size, and the bathroom had a window – everything was very clean. Breakfast was the highlight of our day. Simone and her mother greeted us with humor and warmth – thank you again for finally serving a soft-boiled egg for breakfast! :-) We felt very comfortable there and will definitely come back!

We've stayed at this hotel four times now. The reason is that it's not far from the Starlight Theater (about 15 minutes), it's always clean and tidy, and it has a generous breakfast buffet. It's not exactly ultramodern, but it's decent and clean. The service staff is also always friendly and helpful.

We had room 7, a large bedroom and bathroom. We felt the bedroom was missing a small chest of drawers on one side. There were a few other small things that could have been done differently, for example, a small stool in the bathroom for putting clothes. Breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly.

Wow, an unassuming house, but what's hidden inside is simply wow. From the incredibly friendly and welcoming reception to the lovely room itself, we were delighted. The bathroom window alone is a big plus, a bright and cheerful room with everything you could need, and we slept perfectly. Absolutely nothing to complain about! 😀 Breakfast is included at this hotel, and it was simply phenomenal... the selection was more than ample, the scrambled eggs were freshly prepared, the coffee was delicious, and the service staff were more than perfect! 😀👌👍 A huge selection of muesli – everything was just perfect. We can only say: We'll definitely be back!
