Bears Bar is one of the elders of the Benidorm scene: a men-only bar on Calle Santa Faz that locals have been drinking in for decades. As the name suggests the crowd leans bear - though the door policy is about being male, not about your waistline. It is a drinking bar first, with a sociable front room and prices that keep the regulars regular, but it also has a cruisier side, with a darkroom towards the back. That mix - neighbourhood pub up front, adult playground behind - is exactly the old-school formula, and Bears Bar wears it without apology. Its spot on Santa Faz puts it in the middle of the village crawl, a couple of doors from KUMA, which makes the two of them the obvious double-header for anyone on the bear end of the spectrum.
