The underground public men's toilets beneath Claraplatz, in the heart of Kleinbasel next to the tram stop, are a long-listed 'Klappe' (toilet-cruising) spot. Activity is discreet and mostly during opening hours (roughly early morning to early evening, longer in summer). This is a busy central public facility, so discretion and respect for other users are essential. Switzerland is legally very tolerant, but be considerate and aware of your surroundings.
