Checkpoint Bern

Checkpoint Bern is a specialised sexual-health centre for gay and bisexual men, trans people, sex workers and migrants, on Schwarztorstrasse near the city centre. Run by Aids Hilfe Bern together with hab queer bern and the Inselspital university hospital, it provides confidential HIV and STI testing, PrEP counselling, vaccinations and psychosocial support in a non-judgemental setting. It is a practical resource for visitors as well as residents — useful to know for rapid testing or sexual-health advice during a stay in the Swiss capital.
