Checkpoint Bern is a sexual-health centre on Schwarztorstrasse in Bern's Mattenhof district, a short walk from the old town. It serves gay and bisexual men, trans people and other groups. It offers confidential HIV and STI testing, PrEP consultations, vaccinations and counselling, and is run in cooperation with Aids-Hilfe Bern.
Visitors can use it as well as residents. Testing slots can fill up, so check opening times and appointment rules on mycheckpoint.ch before going. Fees apply for some tests.
