K41

K41, on Kyrylivska Street in the Podil district, is widely described as the only dedicated queer club in Kyiv. Housed in a former brewery, the multi-level venue built its reputation from 2019 as a Berlin-inspired techno space with a strict safe-space and consent policy. The crowd is young, mixed and sex-positive, and the programming leans toward long electronic nights. Operating hours follow Ukraine's wartime realities: events run within the nighttime curfew rather than until dawn. Beyond nightlife, K41's team has supported the community during the full-scale invasion, using the space as a shelter. It remains a cornerstone of Kyiv's queer nightlife and a reference point for the city's underground music culture.
