Well at least Mike is happy with this place probably more now that it's a drag bar. Completely disgust3d that the owners chose to wipe out any fetish from the venue and replace it with a bar for groups of straight women to come to.

This used to be a gay bar but it's now the only diverse friendly fettish bar in Wales. It holds private BDSM, and pups events... To say its just a gay bar is totally incorrect. Regulars are from all diversities. It's a very safe place to visit. No seedy porn on the screens...and all diverse people can visit when the bars open. Bossman owner is Mike. Bar manager is a very knowledgeable another Mike. Cardiff Council begs a small membership fee needs to be paid if your going from street to bar after 11pm. Free street parking is limited otherwise use the St David's Centre car park. Nearest station Queen St..Look out for international drag Queen Joesaphilla Ma Hunt appearing here for free and other drag stars...not to be missed. Come visit and be part of the Eagle family.

Eagle is a small friendly and welcoming Gay Bar. I find all the staff welcoming and friendly. Customers seem friendly to. Drag shows are great fun. Good choice of beer bottled and draft. Venue is always clean and tidy to. Look forward to popping in when visiting Cardiff. Hope to come back again soon.

Absolutely amazing place staff are very friendly and Mike always welcomes people in with a massive smile. Overall this is the best gay bar in cardiff

Great night out abs an amazing resident drag queen, Opal Fruits, went in on my own on a friday evening and ended up leaving with friends, great friendly bar with friendly bar staff, special shout out to James who made me feel very welcome

Called here for a refreshment stop in Cardiff. A really nice basement bar with staff who are so friendly. The staff really make this a gay bar worth visiting. A very nice bar.

Primarily a bear/leather bar, Eagle is one of my favourite hangouts in Cardiff. Welcoming and friendly bar staff. Several evening events held through the month: leather, uniform, bear, pup / handler, karaoke, and much more. (check online or with bar staff for upcoming events). May seem a bit quite at times, but just hang around. Love going back there!
