Was told I wouldn't be allowed in because I was alone, and that's just their "policy." Visiting from the U.S. and was interested in seeing the drag show, which it turns out was canceled anyway. Looks like I lucked out. Pretty trashy dirty area to be turning people away, but clubs like that aren't my type of place anyway. Enjoy your feigned "exclusivity." lol (Definitely read the other reviews before you visit. I didn't and wish I had. Would have saved myself the time. Based on the other reviews it sounds like the "policy" changes to exclude whoever the bouncers want to. If you only want Scottish white straight people under 20, advertise as such. You're in a large, international city, and should expect "outsiders." One of many other examples of the U.K. being FAR less welcoming than I expected...)
Absolute nightmare, queued up 45 minutes, got IDd by a bouncer, whats that about. Went to order the meatball marinara at the bar, got looked at like an absolute donut. Loud music and dancefloor, pure smoke machine going off every 5 mins. Got offered tequila rose shots, also searched my bag upon entry, worst Subway ever.
Small shop but geeft service and delicious tuna honey oat sandwich.
Been to the same place twice, changed places outfits and still not let in didn't ask for id or anything didn't give a reason as to why we weren't allowed in, good recommendation go to the three sisters
The door policy is unfortunately very questionable. Despite the "free entry" sign, after a brief inspection I was told it was 13 pounds... I'd rather go somewhere else where free entry actually means free.
