I visited Selina Cartagena with high expectations, but my experience was quite mixed. Overall, the staff was friendly, except for the receptionist (I don't remember her name), whose service was truly awful. From the moment I arrived, the interaction was awkward: she asked me about my reservation several times, and once she found it, she told me I had to pay an additional fee without giving me a clear explanation. The customer service at that moment was very poor—zero empathy and little willingness to help. The situation was so uncomfortable that, although I had planned to stay longer, I ended up staying only two days and decided to change hotels. As for the facilities, the rooms are fine, but they are small, hostel-like. The location is also good and convenient for getting around. However, I believe that customer service is a key area they should definitely improve.
Very well located, the hotel even has a rooftop with a pool and bar, we liked it a lot.
The rooms were very nice, but the walls were very thin; I could hear one of the guests snoring. The air conditioning started leaking ice on the second day. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails or the food.
