Great location but be prepared with ear plugs because the area is noisy at night. Basic tolietries offered like soap and shampoo. Our room was on the second floor and the restroom was tiny. Nice terrace on the 4th floor. Great place to crash for a night or two if your plan is to enjoy Old San Juan by foot including at night.
Great room (#10) Great location. Great host. I read some of the other reviews and really don’t understand some of the complaints. Like using the lockbox after 14:00 — no problems with that at all.
Our room didn't have a single window and was "2 meters"—super small and uncomfortable. The air conditioning was centrally controlled and impossible to control. There was no hot water for showering, and there weren't any outlets on the nightstands to even charge a phone. There weren't any glasses in the room. The noise was unbearable; I couldn't sleep all night. I wouldn't recommend it even if it were $5 USD per night. Horrible experience…if I could rate it without stars, I would.
The only good thing about this place is the location. The management was rude and unhelpful. There was excessive noise overnight from other guests, and when we brought it up, the manager simply said they could not control people. That was their solution to the issue. On top of that, there was no hot water in the bathroom, and the AC is controlled by the property rather than the guests. The only positives were that the room, although tiny, was clean, and the housekeeper in the morning was very nice. We ended up finding another place in the same area for the same price, but the difference was that they actually cared about their guests. I would never stay at Navona Studios again.
Excellent, welcoming, and located right in Old San Juan. Ample parking at a great price.
There is no elevator at this place. We did not have any hot water at all. The street noise was excessive until at least 2:00 in the morning. Cars were driving by with loud speakers playing music. Groups of people hung out outside the hotel on the street at all hours of the morning. We were very disappointed. The only good thing was is the room was extremely clean.
