Coconut Club in downtown Austin is one of those places that never fails to deliver an unforgettable night out and has become my absolute go to spot whenever I want to have a great time. The multi level layout is brilliant, with multiple dance floors offering different vibes so you can always find the right energy for your mood, plus a stunning rooftop with breathtaking views of the Austin skyline. The DJ talent they bring in is consistently top notch and keeps the dance floor packed all night long with an amazing mix of music. The inclusive and welcoming atmosphere makes everyone feel right at home regardless of who you are or where you come from, which is something truly special about this venue. The Saturday drag brunch is an absolute highlight and a must experience event that had our whole group laughing and dancing from start to finish. If you are looking for the best night out in Austin, Coconut Club delivers every single time.

Came here for drag brunch and it was the best way to close out my bachelorette. My sis and I agreed the vibe and performances made it the best drag show we’ve seen yet!

Music had no business being that good on a sunday. (Beware tho. Dont tip twice, they automatically add the tip to your bill)

Had a disappointing experience Saturday night during an event at Lazer. While waiting in line, we were interacting with the staff member handling entry. During that interaction, an issue came up and she became visibly annoyed. We then spoke with the head of security, who escalated the situation to the owner (who was present). At one point, the owner suggested we be let in through the back, which felt unusual and unclear. The head of security pushed back on that approach and brought it back to the front. After speaking again with the staff member, we were told that someone in our group had used a derogatory term toward her. That did not happen. Based on that claim, we were denied entry. Overall, the situation felt disorganized conflicting direction between staff, security, and ownership, followed by being turned away over a false accusation. Not a great experience, and hard to trust the process at the door when things are handled this way.

Bartender named Jordan there. Unfortunately, bartenders get so caught up in the industry and get drunk on the job that it is poor service on the place. Hopefully he can get help.

BEWARE!!!They have auto-gratuity added to your bill and the bartender will overcharge you even if you select no additional gratuity. I was charged an extra $40 on my bill for a $10 drink. I selected no additional gratuity and closed my tab and the next day I had charge for over $50 on my account! I will never go here again and if you choose to, make sure you get a receipt or pay cash. Shameful!
