We loved staying here! What a wonderful, relaxing time we had!

From the short stroll to downtown, to chatting with Mr Ray (their friendly cat), to the big bathtub, and delicious breakfast we loved our stay.

Beautiful place and delicious breakfast! Immaculate and within walking distance of restaurants!

Me and my husband stayed there for our 2 year anniversary it was perfect and everything what we expected and needed. The room was so cute and cozy with a luxurious and soft bed sheets, we had a jacuzzi tub which was so relaxing. We had coffee and pumpkin bread served at our door then later on we enjoyed this amazing breakfast. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic get away, Kathy was so amazing and so welcoming she made sure we had everything we needed and then some!

My partner and I enjoyed a quaint 4 night stay at Main Street Rooms — very clean, cozy, and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. I am used to colder climates and was surprised how well our rooms thermostat worked given it’s an older building. Service — the morning coffee and bread was a fantastic little treat before the dual course breakfast. Every breakfast was well thought, unique, and delicious. Check-in, check-out, as well as overall room service and communication were all a breeze. Overall — I am already planning my next stop down to Parkville, and will have Main Street as my #1 pick!

2025 UPDATE - My (now) fiancé and I went back for a 3rd time! We definitely prefer the privacy and feel of the Missouri River Suite, but you can't go wrong with any of the rooms. Bonus Tip: This place is *NOT* a Hotel or AirBnB — please read Kathy's meticulous & carefully crafted overviews and guide book to know what to expect, *communicate* if you have any special requests/needs ahead of time, and then embrace the experience as-is! In my opinion, if you don't want the the 3-course, curated breakfast & dining/interacting with Kathy & other guests each morning...you are missing out on 50% of the experience & won't appreciate the hard work she and Jason put into every detail of your stay. What also truly made our latest visit was going Friday -> Sunday, instead of Saturday -> Monday, and also going for "Christmas on the River". Lots of Parkville's businesses are closed or close early on Sundays, so we experieced MANY new foodie hotspots and shops within walking distance: - the Wagyu hot dogs at KC Cattle Co (the best roller grill item you will ever eat, and a fun, affordable 3rd space that supports Vets) - delicious seasonal pizzas at Stone Canyon...lovely affordable cocktails too - Deviant Kava...didn't go for the Kava, but this is an exceptional coffee shop with an expansive variety of house made syrups. I had a Black Sesame infused decaf latte. - a Muffuletta Panini & bottle of Pinotage (South African wine with lovely, complex fruit and coffee notes) bottle at Parkville Wine House - "Cool Vintage Watches" is a really well curated (broadly "man themed?") antique and record shop. I now listen to Steely Dan because of the background music - a couple vintage clothing stores/boutiques to balance out your "Cool Vintage Watches" experience

We absolutely adore the Main Street Inn! We’ve stayed twice and each time it has been incredible. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, but the coffee and bread in the morning delivered to your door is next level. You get to start the day nice and slowly. One thing that keeps us coming back are the gorgeous fire tables overlooking Main Street. You cuddle up with a provided blanket, grab a glass of wine and feel all your stress melt away. We can’t wait for the next visit!

Took my wife to have a nice relaxing birthday weekend. Whether you don't want to be disturbed or are a socialite, Main Street Inn is a great place to stay with lots of amazing restaurants close by with some shopping and salons as well. The Missouri River Suite was just the relaxing time needed and was just as advertised and the breakfast must not be skipped! We will be going back in the near future! Thank you Kathy!

Kathy is amazing. We really enjoyed her hospitality and our conversations. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. She is very accommodating and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Probably the best French pressed coffee I’ve had! We will definitely will be back!

I wish I could have spent a week or more here, but sadly was only here 2 nights. Amazing two nights full of relaxation and soaks in the tub. Kathy's breakfast each morning were phenomenal and if I had the money I'd ask to move in lol oh and Mr. Ray? A puuurrrfect head of security.

Wonderful experience at the Inn! Kathy is so accommodating and the Inn is perfect! Parkville is a quaint little town perched on a hill with tons of cute shops within walking distance! Highly recommended and worth the price. They go out of their way to make you feel at home…towel warmers, coffee and snacks on the house, incredible meals and a relaxing ambiance made this a wonderful stay!!

We just got home from a wonderful getaway night for my wife’s birthday. Wonderful stay! The home is elegant, super clean and spacious. We stayed in the Old Kate’s Room. It was perfect for the night. Next time when we stay longer, we will definitely try one of the other two. They looked amazing. The beds were super comfy and amenities were detailed to perfection. The hostess, Kathy provided top-notch hospitality and guided us to some of the better places to eat in the area. Coffee at the door in the morning and delicious breakfast out on the porch awaited us at just the right time. Well done. We will be coming back and talking you up to anyone looking for a little get away in the hidden gem of Parkville!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Main Street Bed and Breakfast. Kathy is amazing, and the breakfast she makes is srumptious . Everything is organized and smells delightful. I highly recommend it and i’m giving her an excellent rating.
