Nona Lani Cottages

I had a wonderful stay at the Nona Lani Cottages. A rare find for Maui with lush gardens, beach adjacent location, and a friendly professional staff. I'll certainly return again!

Honestly I’m here now and had the most incredible experience with a family owned / operated cottage right on the beach in Kehei. It’s called Nona Loni cottages. It was one of the cheapest stays I could find, and has turned into the absolute best (I’ve stayed in Maui many times.) Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

If you want to experience maui with the locals this cottage was perfect, very clean and modern furnishings, right across from the beach and close enough to any establishments you might need. Took advantage of the porch where you can hear the waves while admiring the local birds, you can tell the family that owns and operates the cottages love this place and I feel honored to have stayed here .

Today we were supposed to fly to Maui and despite the weather forecast we really wanted to go there. We learned that the roads to the hotel are closed and many of them are damaged and our vacation would probably be very limited. We also know that there is a problem with supplies. We asked for some leniency but the answer was that the cancellation is denied… We couldn't control the weather but this is a natural disaster. We are sorry for your attitude. I hope our money will help you clean up the remains of this disaster 😇

Great hosts and very comfortable rooms. The cottages are conveniently located to plenty of exploration spots and right across the beach. There are also plenty of coffee shops and an ABC store for those who need a morning routine. Would recommend!

The cottages are exactly as described and fit the bill as designed; great beach access across the street, quaint with updated elements, perfect S Kihei Bl location, ready for kitchen use, and affordable. Highly rec omend for a non resort experience. Communicating while we were here was minimized.

This was by far a gem in Maui! We stayed in the cottages and they were perfect. Great location, and great beach access. The family that runs and owns it is very kind, friendly, and welcoming. We will be definitely returning to Nona Lani cottages.

Beautiful, local family run property with very clean, well maintained cottages and lovely grounds. The location is excellent and peaceful while still being convenient to everything. A wonderful option whether visiting or hosting an event. Aisha was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Nona Lani Cottages! It's the perfect way to experience Maui without being in a huge resort or sterile condo complex. The location is perfect, with easy access to all parts of the island, and close to Kihei without being in the middle of the traffic or malls. And the property is across the street from a long, beautiful, and sparsely visited beach. It's not fancy (in a good way): the cottages are large and comfortable, with lots of privacy and easy logistics in and out. Highly recommend!

Staying at Nona Lani Cottage was wonderful! It's a peaceful place, surrounded by nature and cared for with love. The family atmosphere and the owners' hospitality made us feel right at home. Every detail is designed to provide an authentic and relaxing experience, with a sincere kindness that makes it hard to leave. A little corner of paradise we can't wait to return to!
