Wonderful hotel, very convenient for accessing the city, and a great bar and restaurant

Very Disappointing. We have dined here for years with much success, however, given what we experienced today we will not return. The normally tasty food was awful and expensive for what we received. There were only four tables occupied and one server. So sad to see this happen.

Perfect location. A quiet little island spot in the beating heart of the city. Historic building with an elegant yet understated exterior hides one of the best restaurants in the metro area. If you know you know. Comfortable quiet rooms kept most of the city noise out. Walkable distance to a great variety of shops, bars and dining with the entire downtown area accessible within just a few miles.

Such a beautiful hotel. Our table overlooked the river. Everything was delicious, and the waitstaff is top-notch!

Wonderful food and great views!

had a wonderful stay at the Nicollet Island Inn. The location truly sets it apart — it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful, yet right in the middle of the city. I loved feeling tucked away on the river while still being just minutes from downtown Minneapolis. My room was comfortable and full of character, and the entire property has a warm, relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. The restaurant was just as impressive. The food was very good — thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor — and the service was outstanding. Everyone I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, quiet place in the heart of the city with excellent dining and great service.
