Cosa dicono i recensori

Visitors praise the Nicollet Island Inn's charming, historic atmosphere and its perfect, quiet location on the island, offering easy access to the city and a peaceful retreat. Some guests note that the hotel's vintage character means it is not a modern establishment, which may not appeal to those seeking contemporary amenities.

Su questo posto Nicollet Island Inn

Nicollet Island Inn is a small upscale hotel in a restored 19th-century limestone building on Nicollet Island, in the Mississippi River just across from downtown Minneapolis. It has a few dozen rooms and a well-known restaurant that does a lot of brunch and special-occasion business; listings also mention a piano bar. It is a mainstream gay-friendly hotel, not a gay hotel. The island is quiet and walkable, with the Stone Arch Bridge, St. Anthony Main and the riverfront trails close by. Google reviewers give it 4.6 from about 1,100 reviews. Downtown's bars, including the gay bars around Hennepin Avenue and Loring Park, are a short taxi or a longish walk away.

This is a review for the restaurant. I did not stay at the Inn. The restaurant is five stars! We went one night for cocktails on the patio, which was fantastic and returned for Saturday brunch. Food and service is excellent at this hidden treasure. Recommended.

Mother's day brunch way overpriced at $70 each, the meat really dry, rice not done, chilled soup, YUCK. The view was ok, little river but buildings and sky behind it. Bread and dessert was good. I don't favor the old antique look and vines on their building.
