Clarion Inn North Haven - New Haven North

Asked for a hair dryer, it never arrived. No "Do not disturb" sign in room. Pool advertised but not available. On a positive note, the lady at the front desk went above and beyond to help our situation. Party in the parking lot outside of the 140's hallway disturbed my brother's sleep.

Cozy rooms with plenty if space. Nice courtyard. Very quiet

Room was ok but the water wasn’t hot. We were unaware that the pool was closed, that should be said upon booking.

Great location...the rooms are a bit dated but they are renovating soon

Wow, about calling two days earlier to make sure the pool was in serviced and coming with your children. Upon arrival we were told the pools has been out of service for a few months now so that right there was upsetting for the children and I because that was one of the highlights of us booking. We were lied to by Staff. We proceeded to check in after a long travel. To find pills in our room, blue pills to be exact, which was very align since I have a toddler. I went to the front desk and was told that a couple of other rules reported the same thing and that they were upgrade our room which they did by this time. I was looking at other hotels, but we were so tired then upon the upgraded room, which was lovely the room phones do not work and one of the TV remotes don’t either so we had to keep switching between rooms for TV remotes. Haven’t even been in the room 15 minutes and the alarm goes off for fire. We could hardly hear it and we’re trying to find the exit. We got lost. Definitely things need to be updated where it shows you how to get out of there in case of an emergency and you can hardly hear any alarm at first. I thought it was one of the kids toys. Apparently this happens a lot from what I hear from fellow hotel customers so we had to go outside and then back in and it was pretty cold. I wouldn’t come here again.

I had interest in booking a large number of rooms with this hotel for a wedding in June. I called them on Tuesday am on 1/20 and spoke with some one who said she was going to get me a quote and email me all of the information. I waited two days I never heard back from her in regards to any information to booking the rooms. I called again on Thursday and I spoke with someone who gave me a number to somewhere that still did not give me any answers. On 1/23 I went to the hotel to see If I could speak to the Sales director myself and get the information I needed and a quote so I knew what was available and if they were going to be able to help me or not. I was given an email from a girl at the front desk and she said this is the easiest way to get in contact with the sales Director. I sent a email stating everything I was looking for and it came back to me as a failed email, so then I called them to see if she had come in yet and they let me know she was not there and I told them the email they provided me did not work. The woman then gave me another email and I sent it over everything I was looking for again later that day. It is now 1/25 and I have still not received any information in regards to getting a quote from this hotel on what their availability is. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and they lost my business. so to anyone looking to book here in the future beware.

This place was awful bugs flying around all night look like fruit flies or something. Not sure what type of bugs they were.

Dorene set up the yummiest food buffets for multiple meals throughout the weekend. Worked with my budget. The staff with kind and gracious with having 3 hockey teams there.

Great staff, friendly and very helpful. I wish I could say the same about the room. Leaking toilet, clogged shower, wall paper peeling off, but at least it was very clean.
