My wife and I were in town and needed a place to rest for a few hours, so we booked a reservation through Dayuse. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a front desk employee named John, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He insisted that I had to pay again, even though my reservation had already been paid through Dayuse and only taxes were due at the property. I showed him my reservation confirmation and proof of payment, but instead of reviewing the information, he became confrontational. He told us to leave or he would call the police, used profanity, and even accused me of being there to cheat on my wife, despite my wife standing right beside me. The entire interaction was shocking and completely inappropriate. We contacted Dayuse customer service from the parking lot to explain what had happened, and they reached out directly to the front desk. Unfortunately, the employee then falsely claimed that we chose not to stay because we refused to pay for parking, which was completely untrue. I have never experienced such disrespectful treatment from a hotel employee. Regardless of any misunderstanding regarding a reservation, there is no excuse for speaking to guests in such a hostile, accusatory, and unprofessional manner. This individual should not be representing a business in a customer-facing role. Management should seriously review how guests are being treated at the front desk.

This place is called la Quinta inn and "suites" but when I called to ask about this location's suites the man at the front desk informed me "there are no suites here" ... and that was after the ai hung up on me twice when I asked to talk to a human after it was unable to tell me if the suites at this location had the bed and the couch in separate rooms. Since I found out there are no suites here at this location, I guess it makes sense that the ai was unable to answer my question, but then again you'd think that it could have just told me there are no suites here since the name of the place doesn't match the reality of the situation. Overall very strange experience and a total waste of time, and that's without even having stepped inside the place. I can only imagine what kind of curcuis id have walked into if i hadn't called first to verify. The pictures and descriptions online work together to form an intricate web of deception. Since room/rooms labeled "suite" aren't suites apparently, id say don't go to this hotel if you're looking to book a suite. This hotel should probably change its name to "La Quinta Inn" period, and remove "suite" from 3rd party apps, and especially its very own websites, online descriptions.

No AC, bit by bugs, and they never responded to our emails and messages about our issue. Avoid.

Comfortable and modern rooms. Nice location and some good restaurants near by. Free parking

We had great stay here. The staff were very friendly and informative, the room was clean, and within walking distance of many outstanding pizza places. We walked all over the amazing property of Yale University, chilled in a few parks, and enjoyed New Haven more than I thought we would. I will definitely return! Thanks New Haven Hotel!

The handicap room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Comfortable bed, shower worked fine. Staff were pleasant, the lobby was comfortable. Oh my, the toilet was very, very low to the ground! Really for a young child, not a grown adult with mobility problems. The room a/c kept the room temperature comfortable but went on frequently throughout the day/night. May not stay again.

The location was very dirty and we witnessed about 2 car accidents in the parking lot….. We had to pay to park which is actually crazy with a Marriott rewards member who booked our room. The pillows were horrible and my neck was kinked upon waking up. The area your hotel is in is a legitimate dangerous neighborhood. The staff was very rude upon asking for a refund. I highly warn others before booking this hotel!!!!!! RUN for the exits and don’t stay here!!!!
