I checked into this hotel and the moment I walked into the room and took a look at it, I walked straight out and back to the front desk to check out and request a refund. The Staff is actually nice and I feel bad that they need to deal with the horrible situation this hotel is in. The whole place screams for help, it needs to be overhauled. It feels like you walked into an hourly motel. The only thing they have that’s still nice is a water view. It’s unreal that they are charging these rates. I ended up staying downtown in the New Haven Hotel for less and it was amazing.

They charged me twice for my stay on my cc. I had paid for 2 rooms in advance in January 2026 & once I got there in June 2026 then they had no record of the payment & just charged my cc without notifying me. Shows poor management & unnecessary stress until this whole issue gets resolved.

This place totally exceeded my expectations. The room was nice and clean, all the staff were friendly, professional, and efficient, and the location is quite convenient, too. Breakfast was a bit meh but it was also cheap and convenient so I have nothing to complain about. Overall, I really liked this hotel and I would stay here again.

For this hotel, it was quite clean and spacious. We got a more expensive room but given that, the room is worth the price if your visiting Yale and need a place to stay. The food was good but definitely on the pricier end. I would say to look more into the area for food and drink but if you’re tired and don’t want to travel far, it’s doable We went around the offseason so there wasn’t much staff so food orders are slow and there’s no room service, particularly if you have food delivered. You have to come down to the front desk to get it

We rarely stay at Hiltons but we are glad we stayed at this one. The service was incredible. Loved the suite, easy parking, water views. I had to leave a review for the service specifically. They all went above and beyond. The signage out front, and the shape of the building had us a little confused when we arrived, but once you step inside, it’s a modern/ European style, upscale minimalist vibe. Clean and well maintained.
