Nanaimo Pride

Nanaimo Pride is the Vancouver Island city's Pride week, ending with a Sunday parade and festival. The 2026 edition was billed as '30 Years of Pride, 10 Years of Celebration'.

Pride Week ran 8 to 14 June 2026. On Sunday 14 June the parade left Fitzwilliam Street at 11am, crossed the Bastion Street Bridge and followed Commercial, Church and Front Streets to Maffeo Sutton Park on the waterfront. The festival there ran into the afternoon with live music and activities. BC Ferries from the Vancouver area dock at Departure Bay and Duke Point. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
