Elevation Utah

Elevation Utah is Park City's gay ski week. It is run by Elevation, the company Tom Whitman founded with a gay ski week at Mammoth Mountain in California more than 20 years ago. The 2026 Park City week was the 16th, and its slogan is 'Altitude without Attitude'.

Skiing is split between Park City Mountain and Deer Valley. Ski OUT Utah leads morning ski-and-ride guides, and groups meet for lunch at mountain lodges. Après events run in Old Town from 4pm each day, with themed parties at night. The local nonprofit Summit Pride adds its own events: First Tracks, an early lift opening with breakfast, and a Saturday pride parade from the top of the Bonanza lift down to Legacy Lodge. In 2025 Ski Utah put capacity at up to 1,500 skiers and riders and said passes sell out. In 2026, single après events cost $20 to $50 a day at the door, and Utah residents got discounted passes.

The 2026 edition ran from 25 February to 1 March, and Elevation then moved on to Mammoth in March. The 2027 Park City dates hadn't been officially confirmed when we checked.
