About this place Hyatt Centric Park City

Hyatt Centric Park City is an upscale ski-in/ski-out hotel in Canyons Village, at the base of the Canyons side of Park City Mountain. It has a heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, a spa and ski valet, and many rooms have mountain-view balconies. It's a mainstream gay-friendly hotel, not a gay venue. Canyons Village is a few miles from Park City's Main Street, so plan on a shuttle or bus to get downtown. The biggest LGBTQ+ event in the area is Elevation, the gay ski week, usually held in early March.

We booked us a day pass to the pool on resort pass and had a wonderful experience. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely kind and accommodative. Special shout-out to Russell at the front desk, who allowed us to modify our reservation due to a last-minute thunderstorm. The place has a very chill and relaxed vibe like a small hotel, but has the quality and luxurious accommodations of a four-star Hyatt. The pool area was huge and contained two hot tubs and heated pool. Excited to go back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience at Hyatt Centric Park City. The hotel has an amazing location, especially for enjoying the mountains and everything the Canyons area has to offer.

I was amazed how run down this place felt considering how relatively new it is. There were large gaps in the grout in the bathroom, and lots of nicks in the majority of the woodwork. There was a 4ft ish wall around our balcony so that if we were seated we could not see over it.

I was at the hotel for a site visit for a potential conference.
