Palm Springs Pride 2026
About This Event
Palm Springs Pride pulls 110,000 people to Palm Canyon Drive. It's one of the biggest LGBTQ+ events in the western U.S., a parade and two-day street festival on the first full weekend of November.
November makes sense here. It's warm and sunny, perfect for being outside. June, when most American Prides happen, would mean extreme desert heat.
The parade runs down Palm Canyon Drive, right through downtown. You'll see floats, marching bands, community groups, and politicians. It all shows how unusual Palm Springs is: a city with a lot of LGBTQ+ residents and officials.
After the parade, the street festival takes over. Think vendors, food stalls, stages, and the whole community out mingling.
Palm Springs Pride feels different. This is one of the few Prides where the gay community hosts the event in a city that's, in many ways, already theirs. So many gay-owned businesses, gay elected officials, gay residents. It makes for an atmosphere you don't get in cities where the gay community is still fighting for recognition.
