via Stay22About this place Copley's on Palm Canyon
On Palm Canyon Drive, this LGBTQ+-friendly restaurant sits in a 1940s building that’s seen real Hollywood history. It’s been fixed up, but the bones are there, a bit of old Tinseltown in the desert.
You can eat inside or out. Given Palm Springs' sun, most people go for the patio, but the interior has a nice, hushed feel. It's not trying too hard to be modern, which is a relief.
The food is American, straightforward and done well. Nothing too experimental. Think elevated comfort food, the kind of meal you want after a day by the pool. It’s a solid bet if you’re after familiar flavors but want something a bit nicer than a diner.
If you're looking for a taste of Palm Springs' past, especially its queer history, this place delivers. It’s a comfortable, welcoming spot with a story, and sometimes, that’s exactly what you want from a meal out. Check their website for current hours and menu details.

Love Copley’s; we go each time we are in Palm Springs. This time around I was a little disappointed. The food was Ok, but nothing stood out. Typically there are couple dishes where it just delights your palate; not this time.
Four men celebrating two birthdays. Superior service by female server, outstanding food, atmosphere unmatched, cheerful manager. Diverse clientele was comforting. First time for 2 of us. Our new #1 choice for fine dining and celebrations.
Have lobed this place for years. Consistently great meals is a beautiful environment.
Lovely dinner on the patio. The atmosphere is great, and the entrees were all delicious and large potions. Service was a bit slow and spotty, but didn’t take away too much from the experience.
Great restaurant and great service. Food was outstanding and delicious. Came here to celebrate a birthday and definitely did not disappoint. Victor gave a wonderful experience/ service to our table. Thank you Victor and the entire staff for making our evening special for the birthday girl. We had bread service and I loaded up on that (big mistake). I had the Caesar Salad with Pineapple Croutons. Portion was large enough to share. Great salad and the only thing I would have liked was more pineapple croutons (only because they were delicious and sweet that I wanted a lot more). I ordered the Duck entree. 2 large duck legs and a lot of spinach, cabbage with blueberries, and mushrooms. Unfortunately we had birthday cake waiting for us at home or we would've ordered a few desserts for the table. Will definitely come back again.
The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere was great, all of our waiters and service were excellent. However, the only vegetarian entree option is a cauliflower dish. Probably the worst vegetarian option I’ve ever had, and you would expect more from a nice place like this. It’s cauliflower flipped over on the grill, with carrots and spinach. While it’s technically tasted fine. It’s literally a plate of vegetables with a sauce that doesn’t make up for it on the side. They need to add a carb at least, maybe quinoa. And if they’re going to do just vegetables it needs to be prepared other than plain, which is what it was.
