Super 8 by Wyndham Milford/New Haven

My wife and I came from another state for a picnic. When we got to the hotel we immediately noticed the outside looked unkept and run down not to mention the main stairs wrapped in caution tape with a table blocking it. Got our room and noticed a nasty smell and need sheets dirty with burn holes. They gave us another room a bit better to find a rusty microwave: , dirty broken coffee pot , still burn holes, and very small for the price. The bathroom window didn't lock no drawers in the dresser and hard cold floors.

the room was barely sufficient. beds and linens clean but had stains and even a hole in the sheet. worst part was floors were filthy and we had to keep our shoes on or risk getting our socks full of hair and dust. continental breakfast was pathetic. a few generic granola bars and prepackaged pastries. not even napkins. I was generous giving it 2 stars bc it was affordable and there weren't bed bugs.

Been there before.

The place are pretty good located. Looks like they were renovating the room recently but still have a lot of work to do like a big gape under the door and all the cold winde coming thru. The rooms looks like there are missing something, in a few rooms not mirror y others, not table/chair, others not microwave or fridge or the bathroom shower waster not going.

My experience at the Super 8 in Milford was extremely disappointing. The room I was given was in terrible condition — it smelled old, felt dirty, and the TV didn’t work at all. I was traveling with my two small children and asked for help or at least a room change, but I felt completely dismissed. The lack of care or concern for families or guests was shocking. The overall environment was uncomfortable, and based on the way I was treated, I did not feel welcomed here. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay far away — there are much better options in the area.

Surprised by some of the other reviews; of course this is not a luxury hotel, if it were it wouldn't be so affordable. We appreciated that the management team is very accomodating of requests where they can be. They even mentioned weekly rates. It's good to be able to interact with "someone you can work with"--makes all the difference. Great location right of 95: you can walk to any sort of international cuisine and/or shopping.

The room smells of smoke.

Not up to date seemed dirty but no bed bugs
