Old Alcohol Plant Inn

Great Inn eclectic and historic feel. Nice view of water . Garden fruit and veggies grown and used in food. Big John told us about the big John breakfast and we had to get it . Big John breakfast and the biscuits and gravy and the avocado pouched eggs so good. Service was very nice and helpful. Restaurant was very good beet salad and Steak was very good. We loved it and would come again.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times! Love love love this place! What they do for the community is truly amazing! I love the restaurant! The staff is super helpful and friendly. The hotel may be out of date but they are updating and the hotel is super clean and welcoming! I will definitely be staying here again and always send my family and friends their way! They also run the Starrett house in Port Townsend. Can’t recommend enough for both properties!

Every thing was perfect up till dinner after letting it sit on table for a few min there were ants in our food. Front desk was closed. I started feeling a Lil ill and just went to bed. My husband sat up and watched TV for a bit and kept flicking ants off him hoping that it was just in the downstairs seating area he came to bed but all night ants every were he was flicking them off of me and him self. We brought this to the attention of front desk when we checked out and was given a ten percent discount and the number to the Gm. I started trying to reach her first thing Monday but was told she was in a meeting all day. I paid 360 dollars for that suite and another 75 dollars for dinner we didn't get eat and we were offered a ten percent discount I dont think so it's been a week and no refund into my account so if you dont mind the ants in your bed and in your food or in you it's a five star joint but if you would rather not have ants then I wouldn't stay there the gm has done nothing to make this right by me made it impossible to contact her for a solution to this situation for that I wouldn't recommend it to any body thank you

The Old Alcohol Plant is a great small hotel with a fabulous location. The rooms are clean with beautiful gardens and great water views.

Had a wonderful anniversary celebration. Beautiful views of the water and marina. Friendly and helpful staff. The room was everything we were hoping for. Clean and spacious with all of the important amenities. Only complaint were the workers making some noise doing repairs on the roof nearby in the morning but all in all a very nice time.

Older and kind of run down. Odd broken down vehicles in the parking lot. Room was comfortable but strangely the hours are from 8am to 8pm daily. Afterward, no one to check you in.

Very friendly staff. Nice rooms with charm, this is not a 5 star big brand hotel but a unique find that is well worth the visit. Interesting history to check out and beautiful gardens seasonally.

Worst place we ever ate and that is no exaggeration. Entering the front door you walk thru a mostly empty building with no clear direction where to go. Entering the lounge we had to find the staff ourselves and was greeted with "we are short staffed so although of the menu we can't make". I wish we turned around instead we waited over a hour for mostly bland food and even less exciting service . Is a homeless camp so I would suggest locking your vehicle and removing your valuables from your car when you dine.

Stayed this past weekend in room 302. Room was clean. Heavy bleach smell that cleared easily with opening the window. Half of the bed had a substantial 4" deep hole/depression in it that became quite a bit worse when lying on it. This made half the bed unusable. I let the front desk know and they apologized but did not offer any solutions to the issue. Restaurant was good. Great service. Steak was overdone but all the flavors were great and the plate had a nice presentation. The hotel grounds are beautiful, as is the location. The hotel is a neat historical building with lots of lovely historical photos.
