Fantastic
A cute little traditional Russian sauna tucked off the beaten path. We had the package with the attendant and it was great, however you may book the private sauna without attendant for 2-6 people and varying session lengths. They didn’t tell us about a towel rental charge prior to visiting but ended up offering us towels and slippers for free. Make sure to ask or bring your own towels flip flops/slip-on sandals to walk across the grass between the sauna building and the toilet / hot shower building. Towels become soaked so you may even want two :) There is also an outdoor, cold-plunge shower to use between sauna sessions. They provide a sweet little offering of crackers, nuts, hot tea, and water set on a table with a bench at which to rest between saunas. Sauna has 3 different bench heights / heat levels. If you have the attendant package, they will stay the whole time and perform a traditional Russian sauna ceremony. They wave a large fan made of flattened Maple leaves that is saturated with water and then heated on the rocks. When the fan of leaves is waved around and placed on the body it spreads extreme high heat onto your body. We were not expecting the intensity, but they are very accommodating for lessening the heat or length of time of the ceremony for novice sauna folks :) Great folks and great price.
This was the perfect way to relax on a Saturday afternoon after a long week. My spouse and I signed up for the guided session, as it was our first time visiting. Our "steam captain" sipped tea with us in between sessions and expertly whisked the steam on us with leaves. We both slept deep that night. Will definitely return for another session.

I recently visited Forest Haven Sauna and was absolutely impressed. From the very first moment, you can feel the cleanliness, order, and well-thought-out atmosphere everything is designed for true relaxation and a high-quality sauna experience. The steam room is excellent, with soft and even heat that feels comfortable and therapeutic. Special thanks to Slavik, the sauna master a true professional. His steam session was top-notch: great technique, perfect rhythm, and close attention to how you’re feeling throughout the process. You can really tell he knows and respects true sauna culture. After the steam, it was especially relaxing to unwind in the lounge area with a cup of aromatic herbal tea, which perfectly complements the sauna ritual and helps your body recover. I also want to highlight the friendly and attentive staff, the cozy interior, and the overall feeling of care for guests. This is a place I genuinely want to come back to. Highly recommend Forest Haven Sauna to anyone who appreciates quality steam, professional service, and authentic relaxation
We will be returning. : ) Quaint & cozy little space. Very clean with a nice selection of essential oils.
