Youth Pride Inc.

Youth Pride Inc. (YPI) is Rhode Island's only community center dedicated to LGBTQ+ youth, operating since 1992. Based on Westminster Street in downtown Providence, it serves hundreds of young people each year with drop-in support, peer groups, advocacy and coordination of school Gender & Sexuality Alliances. YPI also runs Haus of Codec, an LGBTQ+ youth shelter for ages 18-24 with a food and clothing pantry. It is a cornerstone of the state's queer support network.
