About this place Youth Pride Inc.

Youth Pride Inc. (YPI) is a community center for LGBTQ+ young people at 743 Westminster Street in downtown Providence, operating since 1992. It is the only center in Rhode Island dedicated to LGBTQ+ youth. Services include drop-in hours, peer support groups, advocacy, and support for school Gender & Sexuality Alliances across the state. YPI also runs Haus of Codec, a shelter for LGBTQ+ young adults aged 18 to 24, with a food and clothing pantry. Its services are for young people, so adults visiting should contact the office rather than drop in.
