I love this spot, Tay & Missy are always looking out & I always feel safe and the love. It’s huge in this community, you don’t get that from all the other bars❤️
you guys really should stop with the face scanning thing, it's creepy. i'll return once that goes away.
This place used to be fun, it’s all gone now and it’s dirty.
While at that bar to visit a friend, I was astonished in witnessing two young black men, children really, violently attack a Caucasian man over 60 because he was standing near the bathroom waiting to use the stall that both of the attackers were using. The black bouncer employee subsequently let the criminals back in the bar in spite of their violent behavior even though, as I overheard, the victim had reported the attack to that bouncer and another black employee. Corruption also exists in that the bartenders give customers the INCORRECT idea that tips are required. One bartender, I was told, charges customers more if they don't tip. Don't tip them! Moreover, best avoid that violent place altogether.
A decent spot in the castro with good strong drinks. Not my favorite as it can get pretty packed.
Sadly, I can’t recommend one of my favorite bars any longer since they started using facial scanning technology and sharing data with other venues. Creepy and without consent! Google the sfgate’s article 2 other bars badlands and toad hall use this as well.
