Incredibly disappointed that they've implemented facial recognition scanners. It's super creepy and invasive, and it turns what should be a safe, fun space for queer people into a weird surveillance space where they collect information on your gender identity, address, and god knows what other personal info to do shady dealings with. Absolutely not. We've been coming here for over a decade, but they've changed the vibe of this community space into something gross and uncomfortable.

Saw a face scanner that collects data of my face and immediately left. What a gross breach of privacy

The black male employee who checks IDs can be off-putting. Even though I looked in from the doorway to see whether a friend was at the bar, the employee barked, "Your backpack and ID!" I had not approached him to go in, and in fact I had no intention of going in because my friend was not there. "Best of luck," I replied to the employee who had been on a little power-trip. Wait at least for customers to decide whether to come in. Low-class!

Do not go here. They require you let them take a picture of you before you enter. Don’t feed the surveillance culture.
