Plantation Hotel

I've had some decent meals here while staying next door. The specials have a higher success in my experience, but I've found the service friendly and lots of big screen TVs.

Would not recommend this hotel. It was clean but it was similar to how I would imagine a prison cell to be. The photos are nothing like the actual rooms. The bathrooms are shared which is not ideal when you have young kids. We only had a sink which looked like it was from the 1900’s, no tv and a wardrobe which if I coughed I'm sure would fall over. Very misleading photos. We ended up leaving, was never refunded and stayed at the Bentleigh motel which was perfect to put our heads down before a big drive.

Easy to get to, super fast and tasty food

Right on the A1 highway so can be very noisy when the big front facing windows are open but great food and service. Daily specials and different areas to sit in, some away from the road. Big tvs to view sports and stage area for bands.

Paid $24.50 for a fish and chips turns out when it comes out it’s a size of a kids meal. Chips were water boarded by salt. Really disappointed wasn't expecting anything from pub food but the bar was not this low.

Worst food I've ever had, waited 30 min for a heavily burnt burger and chips that tasted like fish. (Assuming cross contamination) Not a fluke either tried the Chicken Schnitzel a few months ago it was tasteless and dry. It's a management issue at this point. Would give 0/5 stars if I could.

We stayed for one night and it was a good time. Everything very good, clean and quite. There’s a bar and restaurant in the ground floor, nice!
