Rainbow Coffs Harbour

Rainbow Coffs Harbour is the volunteer-run community group at the centre of LGBTQ+ life on the Coffs Coast. In a regional city with no dedicated gay venue, it functions as the local hub — running regular social events (community dinners, picnics, lawn bowls and a spread of interest sub-groups from fishing to craft), community education and visibility work. It is best known for founding the annual Coffs Harbour Pride Walk, first held in 2024 along the Jetty Foreshore each June and growing every year. The group is supported by ACON and PFLAG+ and is the first point of contact for queer locals and visitors looking to connect. Details of upcoming events are posted on its website and Instagram.
