Stayed over night from Sydney for a business trip I had a very disappointing stay at this motel due to serious cleanliness issues. The room had visible mould , especially in the bathroom and above the air conditioning, and there was a strong musty smell throughout. The bedding didn’t appear clean the beds old and broke , and the bathroom facilities were unhygienic. The lounge has a sheet covering and i understand why upon lifting 1 corner, I did not sit on it as there was major concern about what the marks all over it were and frankly the worry of potentially being poked by something The place should not be operating its a major health hazard. None of the lights worked If your thinking about staying here do yourself a favour and DONT

Staff are very rude and took no accountability for their misleading marketing information resulting in surprise extra charges on arrival. Room smelled like wet dog whenever fans were off. Not sure why they charge a $50/night pet fee if they don't do any extra cleaning after a pet/dog has stayed. Carpet felt sticky to walk on, like a nightclub carpet. Entire building is in disrepair, with visible rust and concrete crumbling. Rooms do not look like the official photos... At all. After my truly awful check-in experience I was too scared to report any issues during my stay, for fear they might keep my security deposit. Multiple past reviews from 3 months ago to 3 years ago mention plumbing noise, which I also experienced (and is shown in my video here). The owners clearly do not care about, nor do they budget for any repairs or maintenance. Pillows were flimsy and flat - I ended up bringing my own (mine are from Kmart and even they were 10x better than the pillows provided). There are signs around the common areas warning guests to be "respectful" and not make too much noise, but I'm confident the plumbing makes more noise than any guest could. Also the staff leave site at 3pm most days so the only option when you inevitably hear loud guests late at night is to call police. I heard people yelling at midnight on a Monday. I stayed for 26 nights but I wouldn't recommend that anyone stay longer than a few nights. The coded gate access to the carpark and a different code to the building only give basic protection and a false sense of security; you can tell by the very worn keys on the keypad and the identical instructions I was sent weeks apart, that they never change the codes. About half way through my stay and after another regular night time disturbance from loud neighbouring guests, I found a large knife wedged in a garden bed. Staff only cleaned my room once during my 26 night stay, and it took 10 minutes (so again, not sure what the $625 pet fee is for). Bed had large holes in the base which were obviously created by someone else's pet and never repaired. Other reviews mention bright walkway lights, but my room had thick curtains that blocked out all the light. I would say that this is what you can expect from low budget accommodation, but I found a hotel in the city that is pet friendly, charges similar prices and is about 10+ years newer. To those saying their security deposit wasn't returned, please call your bank. My security deposit never appeared in my bank account - not even as a "pending" charge. I had to speak to my bank to confirm that it was definitely processed and returned as I couldn't see the proof.

Code to get our keys didn’t work. The pedestrian gate code stopped working - pretty much stuffed if you can’t get in.

Ideal for a casual budget stay with know frills to suit the amount you pay

We stayed in ground floor. Room was so musty. Toilet door broken. Never going to stay there again. Kitchen utensils and cups were dirty.

Good price ,safe and secure.

Room was tidy but dated. The hotel was very run down and in need of repair. The staircase to our room was surrounded by rubbish bags. I would not stay here again with my family
