Quest Palmerston

Booked 4 rooms for a business event, have been up and down to reception 7 times and counting so far trying to organise each room. With each visit costing more and more. Travel frequently, never left a review, but this is a joke of a hotel

Warning - This place allows dogs and there are plenty of them barking and whining at all times in the night and morning and owners don't seem to care. Sound insulation non existent and just noisy as you can not only hear the dogs, but neighbouring occupants talking and banging away. Rooms surrounding the lifts and the hallways are loud and echo. Outside nutters shouting about until 2am keep you awake. That's not Quests fault exactly but the crappy sound proofing definitely is. Room is average with kitchenette and mine had a fridge with a busted thermostat and won't turn off the cooling so it kept freezing my milk and foods etc. Shower hot water was present but barely. The TV is a old 32 inch crappy thing hanging by its life on a shelf that's about to collapse. The town is a dive so I would avoid staying here if you value your safety. There is secure parking which you pay extra for and for 2 nights the automatic gate was broken so the door never closed so not that secure. Quest usually are decent but this one is poor in a bad area so unless you like dogs barking, noise and breaking down old rooms and appliances stay away from this dive. Of course if you do like a rough town and have dogs with you then I suppose this is great and a good spot in the town.... For me it's a huge miss and I will never stay here again.

Insurance booked, we received a room. The couch has urine inside it. I was told I could change it myself as room service was unavailable by gentlemen at reception. Reception offered to provide me sheets but stated they wouldn’t change it. The bathroom was dirty. The walls were dirty. There was some sort of liquid on the lampshade. I was charged for the night due to refusal of refund. See images. Don’t book.

Wouldn't bother there's no gym or restaurant that's why we booked. The young man on reception though that to be funny. When the room wa attended the sheets weren't changed just pillow covers. The pool area was grubby so did not use it. The room was clean. Would we stay again No we also experienced the fire brigade at no time were we called even the next day. No not for me also no restaurant and gym that is / was advertised

I stayed at the quest apartments in palmerston from mid March 2025 until the start of April. While staying there I had a minor issue with an older male making my (at the time) 15 and 16 year old daughters feel uncomfortable. The male had been staying at the apartments until that day when he checked out bit continued hanging around then snuck in behind my daughters when thwu came back from a walk, followed them around the reception area then onto the gym where they went to get away from him making comments that were so inappropriate my daughters ran from him when he went to use the showers. They came back to our room and informed me so police were called. I went down to inform the police what had happen and rung the night manager who came straight down and was also informed what had happened. I then returned to my room to calm down my daughters. Before going back to his room, the night manager took a detour past my room to apologise to myself and my daughters and to make sure the girls were okay and to inform us the male had been removed from the building and given a move on order by himself and the police. The manager and all other staff I had contact with were very friendly and understanding. Upon checking out the day I left. The same manager was on and apologised yet again and asked if my girls were okay. We continued to talk until my taxi came to take me to the air port. Would highly reccomend the apartment's to anyone traveling to Darwin. Its right next to the shops, palmerston bus depot and other shops etc (just for the drinkers out there, it's also staggering distance from a few pubs) Only issue I did have with the room was that it was a family suit but did not have a smart TV, the light and fan on the rang hood for the stove did not work noe did it get fixed before o left so the balcony doors had to be left open every time we cooked which made the tiles on the floor to get slippery due to the condensation from the cold air from the air con and heat from the open doors.
