Wuhan Marriott Hotel Wuchang

I've now stayed at this property twice in the last 6 months. And I highly recommend it for service, value for price and attention to guests who are Marriott Bonvoy loyalty members. Both times I received a complimentary room upgrade. And one of those was to the presidential suite (for 1 nt only). Their concierge can help schedule airport transfers via email prior to my arrival. The staff was helpful in searching for a power bank I thought I had left in the room. The rooms are nice and well apportioned. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant is extensive. And busy. As I've learned that sometimes locals, may come there for breakfast on the weekends without staying at the hotel. It will continue to be the location I stay during my future visits to Wuhan.

I stayed at this hotel during my stay in Wuhan. As you'd expect from a Marriott, it really has a special atmosphere compared to Chinese business hotel chains. However, even the front desk staff didn't speak English well, so it was difficult to communicate as I don't speak Chinese. The surrounding area is nice, but it's not exactly somewhere you'd want to go out for a quick trip. Overall, I think this is a hotel you can stay in with peace of mind.

I’m shocked to come here seeing such a high review with a very disappointing experience. They claimed they only have 9 suites in the entire hotel and the regular rooms are tiny. The elevator is sooooo slow and the service is non existent. The one star is for the luggage boy who gave kind food advices

New brand Marriott in Wuhan ! Really nice

The front desk team was not that close to the market. They offered us the so called best deal was ever higher than the offer we got from Conor trip.com. We spoke to the front desk team and they were not that smart to do it.

Liked: Very well located, right in front of the metro. Friendly staff despite our breakfast issue. Really very clean establishment and attentive staff. Quality room, but be careful, the 270° panoramic room doesn't offer more than 180° at most. Disliked: The reservation included breakfast, and once at the hotel, they refused to serve it to us, even though we had booked a premium suite for 10 days. They asked us to pay again... Also, we'll have to seriously consider cleaning the exterior windows.

This is a fairly new hotel open only few months ago. The service has been amazing (big thank you to Andy at the reception !). We have booked this hotel few times and it has always been great. Some rooms still have small issues on the shower drain (due to being a new building) but the reception managed the issue very promptly. Breakfast has a lot of choices and is overall good
