Cousins Cousines de Tahiti

Cousins Cousines de Tahiti is the main LGBTQIA+ association in French Polynesia, founded in 2007 and based in Papeete. It works on advocacy, community support and visibility for queer people across the islands, including links with the local māhū and raerae traditions, and is the group behind the recent Tahiti Pride events. There is no drop-in address on file; the website (cousinscousines.pf) and its social media are the places to check for current events. As French territory, French Polynesia has the same legal protections as mainland France, including same-sex marriage.
