Glad Hotel Yeouido Seoul

I am a guest who recently stayed at the GLAD Hotel for 7 nights. I was deeply moved by the thoughtful consideration shown by the staff during this stay. On the day of check-in, I was extremely exhausted and tired because my suitcase was damaged at Gimpo Airport. Fortunately, the hotel had prepared a room for me in advance, so I was able to enter immediately and rest without any waiting time. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the male staff member at the front desk and the staff member from the facilities department on June 9th. Perhaps worried that I might get hurt while fixing my suitcase, they personally came up to my room and helped me disassemble the broken handle. Thanks to their kindness, I was able to start my trip on a high note. If the hotel manager sees this post, please make sure to convey my gratitude to them! Additionally, I left a note with my requests, and the housekeeping staff took meticulous care of them. I was deeply touched by their veteran-like attention to detail, such as carefully placing pillows and towels in low spots so that I wouldn't be able to reach them. One thing to note is that the bed is quite soft, so I found the sleeping experience a bit lacking during my long stay. If you prefer a firm mattress like me, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance when making a reservation. I was extremely satisfied as the service has improved significantly since my previous stay. I would like to thank the GLAD Hotel staff for their warm hospitality, and I highly recommend the hotel! 👍

Close to the station, safe, lots of places to eat, close to a park, close to a bus stop, and Glad House is just right.

During my 6-day trip to Korea, I had to book a king bed because there were no double beds available. When checking in, I mentioned that sharing a bed with my grown son might be uncomfortable. The female receptionist smiled and gave us a free upgrade to a room with two beds. Every time we went out and came back, they greeted us so warmly, making our stay incredibly comfortable. I’ve stayed at many hotels in various countries recently for work, but I will never forget this exceptional kindness for a very long time

Delicious beds, slept like a baby

It's a bit far from the main street, but I liked how calm and quiet it was here. Jun Kim gave us amazing service; he even welcomed us before check-in.

The hotel facilities, location, and service are perfect!! It is conveniently located right in front of Exit of Subway Line 9 and a bus stop. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, and Yeouido Park is just a 1-minute walk away. The room includes slippers, amenities (toothpaste/toothbrush not provided), a safe, a mini fridge (with 2 complimentary bottles of water), two bathrobes, and a hairdryer. I stayed in March, and the air conditioning was not working, which made the room feel a bit stuffy. However, the window can be opened. Since the hotel is located along the main road, you may occasionally hear motorcycle noise late at night, and around 7:30 AM, you can hear protest announcements from the speakers in front of National Assembly Building. If you are sensitive to noise, please take this into consideration. There is mold on the shower room tiles, so maintenance is needed. Hotel facilities, location, and service are perfect!! I stayed in March, and although the air conditioning did not work and the air in the room felt stuffy, the window can be opened. Since the hotel is located on a roadside, motorcycle noises can occasionally be heard in the early morning, and around 7:30 AM, speaker sounds from a protest in front of the National Assembly can be heard. Guests sensitive to noise should take note of this. There is mold on the shower tiles, so repairs are needed.
